BCA thanks members for support of Lucy’s Place project, creating housing hope for the chronic homeless

The Barrie Construction Association (BCA) has expressed thanks to several members who contributed time and resources to create Lucy’s Place – “hopeful housing for those suffering from chronic homelessness in our community.”

The project with Redwood Park Communities to turn the former Barr’s Motel on Dunlop Street received members’ support who “opened up their hearts and embraced BVA’s community spirit,” said executive director Alison Smith.

Supporting companies included: Aube Masonry, Barrie Trim & Mouldings Inc., Brian’s Little Electric, Gerrits Engineering Limited, Mak Mechanical Ltd., Positano Paving, Rutherford, The Sarjeant Co. Ltd., Stephenson’s Rental Service and Home Hardware – United Lumber.
