Why We Work Safely

We work safely for ourselves, our coworkers, our friends, and our families.

We work safely because an accident or illness not only affects us, but them.

When we’re rushing, tired, or not paying attention, we need to stop and think about the people in our lives. Stop and think about what could happen—not just for us, but for them.

In Canada alone, 925 workers died from workplace-related injuries or illnesses, and another 271,806 suffered a lost-time injury or illness in 2019.*

Let’s remember those we’ve lost and work safely for ourselves and those around us.
