Dizal: Introduces unique high-definition printing technology to siding market

Ontario Construction News special feature

Founded on more than 40 years of construction industry experience, Dizal premium siding has been launched to offer a technology never before seen in the siding market.

Marketing director Stacey Moran says the new product attracted immediate interest after its launch in 2017.  “The product drew a lot of attention at the IIDEX and IBS shows,” she said.

Intended to be specified on commercial projects, she says that initial demand went beyond expectations. “Our founders, Michel and Louis-André Gaudreau, have a great knowledge of the market and understand what the market is interested in and what influencers are looking for. That is evident in the interest we have seen.”

Moran says the company’s true expertise is its world exclusive technology which it spent three years developing. “High-definition printing exists on building materials such as floor tiles, but we are the only ones to have mastered it for exterior use. We also developed an exclusive clear coating for our products that adds an extra layer of protection to our product. We are the only ones in the world to use this technology on siding, offering something never seen before.”

She says the Gaudreaus are passionate about delivering top-quality products. Knowing the market, the influencers and understanding the end users, she says the goal is always to meet demands and expectations the industry doesn’t even know it has.

Dizal will be launching a new siding product this summer, in keeping with that ideal. “Wanting to make the technology affordable for the residential market, Dizal will add cellular composite siding to its product offer. This way, both commercial and residential markets will be able to enjoy the unrivalled realism our product offers,” she said.

The company recently signed on with DataBid and will use the service to identify projects that might benefit from its unique approach.
