Detail Of Services: York invites prequalified (RFSQ20-010) Bidders to submit bids for General Contractor services for a variety of renovations at Hilliard and Wood Residence at Glendon Campus. The renovations include washrooms, kitchens, lobbies, elevator installation as well as a variety of mechanical and electrical upgrades.
Hilliard Residence is a 3-storey building built in the 1960’s. The scope of work includes renovations to level 1 public lobby, new elevator and associated main stair, communal washrooms on floors 1, 2 and 3, Don Suite washrooms and kitchenettes, corridor ceilings, basement improvements and associated electrical and mechanical upgrades as well as asbestos abatement.
Wood Residence is a 4-storey building also built in the 1960’s. The scope of work includes renovations to level 1 public lobby, Don Suite washrooms and kitchenettes and associated electrical and mechanical upgrades as well as asbestos abatement.
During the months of May to August 2020, there may be multiple projects under construction at Hilliard and Wood Residences. Projects may include the roofs at both buildings and the air handling units at Hilliard. Hilliard Residence will be vacant over the summer months; however, Wood Residence will be occupied and the Selected Proponent will need to maintain function of the building. York will ensure proper separation of Work at all times.
