Detail Of Services: The Corporation of the Municipality of Greenstone requires complete technical and financial proposals from qualified and experienced engineering consultants to design a replacement for a series of culverts on Hwy 584 (within the municipal boundary). The objective of this RFP is to select a preferred Proponent that would provide all required planning and engineering services for a water crossing solution to maintain road access to settlements north of Geraldton, ON. Formerly, Hwy 584 was maintained in its entirety by the Province. A portion of Hwy 584 was transferred to the Municipality, generally described as the road section beginning at the intersection of Hwy 11 through the downtown corridor of Geraldton and northwards to the municipal boundary near the Greenstone Regional Airport. The infrastructure requiring replacement is located approximately 1 km North of MacOdrum Drive (the access road to the Greenstone Regional Airport). The successful Proponent would provide a “shovel ready” project in 2020 that the Municipality can pursue funding for and tender at its discretion.
