ONTC Locomotive Fueling Facility Reconditioning

Detail Of Services: The ONTC requires a qualified and licensed contractor to overhaul and modernize the existing fueling system located at Ontario Northland Transportation Commission’s (ONTC) North Bay railyard. The contractor will hand over a fully functional system that meets the requirements of TSSA LFHC-2017, Liquid Fuels Handling Code, 2017. Existing buildings and the existing fueling system will be refurbished and reused or replaced with new as required in the Scope of Work.
A brief summary includes but is not limited to:
– The existing storage tank is to be re-painted.
– All steel piping below ground between Fueling Shed and the railcar loading/offloading stands will be purged, capped and abandoned in place.
– All piping and equipment in the Fuel Shed will be removed and replaced with new piping and new modern equipment including new pumps, fuel filter, and air eliminator.
– Existing below ground double wall plastic pipe to be reused.
