Scope of Work: The DFO Port Weller Search and Rescue Station project consists of the construction of a new one storey living quarters building, new pre-fabricated garage/utility building and renovation works to the existing 1931 historic lighthouse keepers dwelling located at Port Weller, in the municipality of St. Catharines, Ontario. The new living quarters building will house the coast guard employees and incorporates 5 bedrooms, washrooms, living / dining area, kitchen, ready room, fitness room, laundry room, partially canopied outdoor patio with the work including the associated mechanical, electrical, and IT works. An existing residential building from the 1950s and a breezeway connection to the historic building must be removed to make way for the new construction. The scope of work also includes: • New asphalt extensions to the buildings from the existing asphalt road, with other landscape and pathways. • Civil works, site services, septic bed. • New water treatment system. • A Solar Power system. The construction gross floor areas are approximately as follows: new Living Quarters Building is approximately 321 sqm, the new Garage/Utility Building is approximately 167 sqm and the renovation of the historic building includes approximately 75sqm of interior construction.

Sheridan College Davis Campus B315 & B400A Electronics Lab & PCB Lab Renovation

The current Electronics lab which is an open space with a tool crib and mezzanine will be converted to two (2) physical separate Electronics Labs with a corridor. Each lab will be equipped with a new individual electrical panel powered by a new transformer, new HVAC system with VAVs and FCUs. The existing Printed Circuit Board Lab is located on the mezzanine floor and it will be fully renovated with new SS counters with a storage space. The existing Asbestos Containing Material Drywall and Suspended Ceiling Tiles will be removed by others prior to the construction and the rest of ACMs will be removed during the demolition phase. The total area of the project is approximately 6,500 SQ. FT. The scope of work for the project includes but not limited to:- Architectural demolition & construction • Removal of existing ACM flooring, drywall partitions, ACM CMU partitions, Acoustic tiles in coffered ceiling, Doors, Windows, fiberglass insulation, Millwork, Furniture, wall mounted items and other ACMs. • Construction of new partitions • Supply & install of new doors, windows, flooring, acoustic tiles, drywall and spray foam insulation- Electrical demolition & construction • Removal of existing power receptacles, electrical panels, lighting & controls • Supply & install of new DALI lighting, controls, occupancy sensors, & power receptacles, wire mold, cable tray, electrical panels, transformers, and power door operators • Power installation to Furniture (supplied by others)- Mechanical demolition & construction • Removal of existing HVAC and plumbing • Supply & Install of new HVAC, plumbing- Data communications demolition & construction • Removal & of existing cabling • Installation of AV equipment and Data cabling • Supply & install of Access Card Readers Construction Timeline: • Work will commence no later than October 25, 2021• Complete Substantial Performance by January 21, 2022
