The park is proposed to be 0.38 ha (0.9 ac) in size and include junior and senior playgrounds, open areas, potential multi-purpose paved half court, site furniture and landscaping.  The Ash Street Park is located within two active developments, Ribcor Holdings and Chieftan subdivisions. The park is located on Block 109 and Block 34, respectively and is an irregular shape fronting on Ash Street and Forestlane Way. The portion within Ribcor holdings is 0.26 ha (0.64 ac) and the section in Chieftan is 0.6 ha (1.5 ac) consisting primarily of a woodlot. The park is proposed to include a nature playground which may include elements such as boulders, log structures, stumps, sand areas, slides, tree house, climbing nets, zip line and walking trails throughout the woodlot.

Vaughan New Fire Station No. 7-12 Technical Advisor & Design Team Consulting Services

The City of Vaughan will have approximately 20 staff members assigned to the new Fire Station, with approximately 6 staff members on-site at any given time.

ONTC Bus Garage Building Demolition

The extensions are located in the southeast corner of the building and are constructed of concrete blocks as opposed to the rest of the building which has brick walls. The building is currently used for storage. ONTC will relocate all the stored items out of the building prior to the start of the demolition work, with the exception of the ground mounted crane located in the newer garage section. The Contractor will be responsible for disassembly and safe relocation of the crane to ONTC next door building.
