Deadline approaches to be a part of the Interior Design Show 2020’s Studio North and Prototype sections

Interior Design Show (IDS) is calling for exhibitors to register to be placed in the show’s Studio North and Prototype before the upcoming June 24 deadline.

Studio North and Prototype are sections in the IDS that display custom work and limited-edition collections for the design industry and the media. The custom and one-off collections of over 65 designers in art, lighting, glass, ceramics, and textiles is showcased in a gallery-like setting.

IDS 2020, already 70 per cent booked for next year’s show, the has lined up Kat Holmes to present a keynote address at the event. Holmes is the director of user experience of Google and founder of Mismatch Google, Mismatch. Co-founders of Weiss/Manfredi Architecture/Landscape/Ubranism Marion Weiss and Michael Manfredi will also be keynote speakers.

The show will also include a panel discussion on tall wood buildings from representatives from three firms, each of whom has a tall wood project underway.

The IDS’ 2019 iteration saw more than 53,000 visitors, including 32,000 consumers and 14,000 tradespeople.

IDS reports that more than 400 media attended the event in 2019, resulting in 444 media hits and over 280 million media impressions.

The Interior Design Show is Canada’s a showcase of new products and furniture. The show will be held January 16-19, 2020 at Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s South Building.
