New details are becoming available about the highly anticipated Edenbridge on the Kingsway, as Phase 1 planning continues on the development of the mixed-use redevelopment of the Etobicoke shopping centre.

Originally named the Humbertown Shopping Centre, the reimagining by Kirkor Architects will keep and expand retail space, while adding townhomes and condominiums to the mix.

The nine-storey condominium building will rise up beside the shopping centre, offering 183
suites, including luxury penthouse suites that offer “home-sized” living areas, Modern Heritage finishes, and large terraces. Meanwhile, 24 two-storey town homes will look out onto the Kingsway, featuring picture windows overlooking the street.

Features that are touted in marketing materials include a pool and hot tub, gym, and party room, as well as common living areas, an opulent lobby lounge. A communal rooftop terrace offers more outdoor living areas, while an outdoor English Garden by Forrec tops off available amenities.

Units are cited as being priced between the $900,000s and $3 million, and are tentatively planned to be ready for occupancy in 2023.
