Marlin Spring and Osmington Inc. say they have acquired 10-30 Dawes Rd. in Toronto. The property is located near other sites under development by Marlin Spring.

The developers say they plan what they describe  as a “landmark mixed-use project with two high-rise towers with over 500 homes planned.”

The transit-oriented project in Danforth Village neighbourhood will be within walking distance of  the Main Street Subway Station and Danforth Go Station.

“Acquiring this key property in the Danforth Village allows us to create another mixed-use development with much needed housing options along public transit lines,” Marlin Springs CEO Benjamin Bakst said in a statement. “We are very pleased to be able to work with our valued partners at Osmington on this exciting new project.”

“We are delighted to have built a deep and trusting relationship with the Marlin Spring Team over the past few years and we look forward to further strengthening our relationship with this Osmington/Marlin Spring partnership,” said Jason Levin, executive vice-president, Investments at Osmington Inc. “We are looking forward to developing this monumental project together.”
