H2H Canada places eight veterans with Ontario construction career opportunities in October

Helmets to Hardhats Canada reports that eight Ontario military veterans were placed with construction career opportunities, most with trade unions, in October.

The organization’s monthly “stat report” shows that 894 Ontario vets have been referred to various local unions, about half of the 1,621 total

In October, the program registered 31 veterans and six approved employers.

Overall the program has placed more than 1,000 veterans and dependants, at an average age of 34.
