Ontario Construction News publishes April 10 weekly issue

    OCN Daily cover april 10

Ontario Construction News has published its April 10 weekly edition, as the province’s newest construction newspaper prepares to become a daily publication on May 1.

You can view the most recent issue with page turning software here.

“We’re gearing up our coverage and this issue includes several timely stories,” said publisher Mark Buckshon. “We’re preparing and enhancing our systems to handle the demands of a daily publishing cycle.”

As the publication nears the daily schedule, it is preparing to accept certificate and notice ads, especially Certificate of Substantial Performance (CSP) advertisements when the publication begins its daily schedule.

In addition to a $249 standard offer, OCN-Daily is upping the competitive ante with an offer for anyone who has published a CSP advertisement in the competing publication in the past year.

“If you send us your invoice for the earlier notice advertisement, as long as it is reasonably close in size to the one you are considering placing with us, we’ll discount the ad by 50 per cent,” Buckshon said.

“We’ll begin accepting these ads through our online portal on April 24 and expect anyone placing these mandatory advertisements will save hundreds of dollars on each advertisement,” he said.

Ontario Construction News will be attending the upcoming Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA) Symposium on April 11 to 13 and will have current coverage of that event in upcoming issues.
