The scope of work under the City Repair (Roadway and Miscellaneous Works) Contract includes roadway and miscellaneous works involving the maintenance repairs of roads, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, boulevards, City facilities, parking lots, parks, trails and/or pathways, railway crossings, and watercourses, or on an “as required basis”, or miscellaneous works as directed by the Corporation’s Representative that may be required throughout the City of Mississauga (referred to as the City or the Corporation) during the 2019 season.
Tender forms will be available on line (www.biddingo.com/mississauga) and also at the address listed below on or about Monday, March 4th, 2019.
Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $200,000.00. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City with 50% of the bid price for the Performance & Maintenance Bond & 50% of the bid price for the Labour & Material Payment Bond.
Responses must be time-stamped to be considered. LATE BIDS will be rejected without exception.
Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy.
