The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority will receive Sealed Electronic Tenders for the supply, delivery and services relating to the project listed above until 1:00 PM, local time, on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Tenders to be delivered electronically to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, via both email addresses listed below;

This work generally includes, but is not limited to:
Provide new motor control centre, complete with integrated automation to replace the original unit presently in service
Re-use existing load cables wherever possible
Provide optional price for the replacement of gate heater supply
Installation of above ground and/in situ low voltage services to re-connect new MCC to existing load devices and to restore dam control to as-found
Each Tender shall be submitted electronically, stamped and signed by the contractor/corporation and accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the value of the total bid. Include all completed and signed forms as per instructions in the Tender Package. The successful Tenderer shall also be required to furnish both a Performance Bond plus a Labour & Material bond, each for 50% of the Contract Price excluding HST, payable to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.

Mandatory Site Meeting for prospective contractors has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the project site. Contractors must register intent to attend (and their named representative) by contacting before 5:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2020. In consideration of COVID-19, and the limited parking at the site, contractors should send only one (1) representative each. Depending upon the final tally of attending parties, special arrangements may be required to ensure that physical distancing can be ensured for all site visitors, the Consultant and UTRCA staff. Any addenda subsequently issued shall only be to verified attendees.
