REQUEST FOR TENDER
2020 CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE SIDEWALKS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The Contract involves the construction of concrete sidewalks at various locations within the City of Mississauga. To include excavation, granular and concrete sidewalk placement, concrete curb and gutter installation, retaining wall installation, manhole and catchbasin top adjustments, asphalt paving, topsoil and sodding and all related appurtenances.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $75,000.00. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City with a Performance and Maintenance Bond totalling 50% and a Labour and Material Payment Bond totalling 50% of the contract amount.
Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy.
