REQUEST FOR TENDER
2020 CONSTRUCTION OF MULTI-USE TRAILS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS

This Contract involves the construction of asphalt multi-use trails at the following locations in the City of Mississauga. The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation, granular and asphalt placement and compaction, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter installation, adjustments of valves, manholes, catchbasins, tree cutting, topsoil and sodding and restoration of disturbed areas.

Each tender must be accompanied by a Digital Bid Bond in the amount of $100,000.00. An e-bond must be submitted with each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City with a Performance and Maintenance Bond totalling 50% and a Labour and Material Payment Bond totalling 50% of the contract amount.
The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy. The City of Mississauga relies on this advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify any bidders in any other manner.
