TRENCHLESS REHABILITATION OF CORRUGATED METAL STORM SEWERS

This Contract is for storm drainage improvements at various locations within or adjacent to the Mississauga Golf and Country Club (1725 Mississauga Road), on the north-east side of the Credit River. The work includes: rehabilitation of storm sewers using cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) liner technology (approximately 350m total) and geopolymer liner technology (approximately 378m total); box culvert replacement including minor channel improvements at one (1) location; slope stability and overland flow diversion at one (1) location; and replacement of a ditch inlet structure at one (1) location.
Tender forms will be available on line (www.biddingo.com/mississauga) and also at the address listed below on or about August 12, 2019.
Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $50,000.00. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City with a Performance and Maintenance Bond totalling 50% and a Labour and Material Payment Bond totalling 50% of the contract amount.
Responses must be time-stamped to be considered. LATE BIDS will be rejected without exception.
Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy.
