MOORE CREEK EROSION CONTROL – LAKESHORE ROAD WEST

This contract includes extending an existing stormwater pipe in the City of Mississauga to a new outlet on Moore Creek and includes: Installation of 160m of 900mm dia. concrete storm sewer pipe, Construction of three (3) 1800mm dia. Concrete maintenance holes, Construction of armourstone headwall/retaining wall, Earthworks (filling and grading to backfill/cover existing Enbridge Crude Oil line, Asphalt road repair and concrete curb and sidewalk repair, site restoration work (seed, sod and tree and shrub planting). In general, this work is proposed to correct ongoing erosion issues on Moore Creek, adjacent to Lakeshore Road West.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $40,000.00. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City with a Performance and Maintenance Bond totalling 50% and a Labour and Material Payment Bond totalling 50% of the contract amount.
Responses must be time-stamped to be considered. LATE BIDS will be rejected without exception.
Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy.
