REQUEST FOR TENDER
A call for tender is issued for the following tender:
TZC T–57-2019-12 – Orangutan Outdoor Exhibit
Work includes the construction of a new outdoor orangutan exhibit at the Toronto Zoo.
All work to be completed as per the drawings and specifications of the tender documents. The contractor is responsible for all pricing and all other arrangements with all subcontractors as required. The site inspection to be held on Thursday, 2019-12-19 at 0900 hours (9:00 a.m.) local time, meeting at the Administrative-Support Centre, 361A Old Finch Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
Tendering documents will be available on Tuesday December 17, 2019 to download at no charge from the Toronto Zoo website, http://www.torontozoo.com/business. Bidders are solely responsible for downloading all documentation and checking periodically for any addenda prior to the stipulated closing date.
If you are unable to download the document, you may arrange to forward your completed return waybill, including your account number with the courier company and have the courier pick up on your behalf from Purchasing & Supply. Purchasing & Supply Unit must also be contacted at telephone number 416-392-5916 and informed of this request in advance. There is no fee for the documents.
Tenders must be completed, signed, sealed and received by the Supervisor, Purchasing & Supply, Toronto Zoo, Administrative Support Centre, 361A Old Finch Ave., Toronto, Ontario, M1B 5K7 by:
Friday 2020-01-17, 1200 hours (noon), local time)
Tendered prices shall remain in effect for a period of ninety (90) days from the Tender due date.
Each tender received will be required to provide a Bid Bond and Agreement to Bond.
The Board of Management of the Toronto Zoo reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or to accept any Tender, should it deem such action to be in its interests.
