$55.2 million Finch West Station largest Toronto building permit issued in December

Toronto recorded building permits valued at $4,72,149,234 in December.

Here is a summary of the five largest permits.

$55,247,926 – 3933 Keele St.

Mosaic Transit Group is working on the Finch West station, or what the permit describes as a “transit station, subway, bus terminal”. There are earlier references to an affordable housing project at this address, though the permit doesn’t appear to reflect any housing elements.

Sheppard Gardens$40 million – 3445 Sheppard Ave.

This permit is for part of the five-building condo/retail Sheppard Gardens by 95 Developments.

$36 million – 21 Fishleigh Dr.

The permit relates tot he rehabilitation of the Scarborough Pumping Station, including construction of a new atmospheric surge tank.

$32.85 million – 3445 Sheppard Ave. E.

This is another permit for the Sheppard Gardens project.

$31,097,500 – 4700 Keele St.

The permit relates to a “multiple use/non residential new building” at York University.
