When the Barrie Construction Association’s (BCA) Women in Construction (WIC) group launched in 2019, they began to support the Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie by creating a donation drive every year at Christmas.

More than a thousand dollars in cash and much-needed essential items have been collected by the group every year and 2022 was the most successful to date – $2,760 was raised along with items needed for every day living at the shelter and some comfort items for the women and children to enjoy all year.

The WiC Group would like to thank all BCA members who gave so generously in support of this initiative:

  • 3M Canada
