Bird Construction to build BC’s $200 million Lake City Studios

Bird Construction Inc. has been awarded a contract to construct Lake City Studios in Burnaby, B.C., a world-class film studio with the potential to attract major productions.

Owned by Lake City Industries Limited Partnership, the project includes over 1.3 million square feet of space with 21 sound stages, production offices, general office space, storage and workshops, an underground parkade, as well as site works and landscaping.
