The third annual AGF Golden Rebar Awards were presented last month, hosted by Sébastien Delorme and Sladana Vlaco-Mrsic.
Awards celebrated the divisions that brilliantly embody AGF’s five corporate values:
Leadership Mindset
Nominees: Québec City, Calgary, and Thanjavur (India).
Winner: Calgary – Shaun Went and his team recognized “for boldly and successfully transforming their division”.
Health and Safety
Winner: Ottawa team, recognized for exceptional results.
Performance
award honored all AGF divisions in Ontario for their “impressive productivity and financial performance over the past year”.
Team Spirit
Longueuil team was recognized for “exceptional team spirit, not only within their division but also in its interactions with other Group divisions, whether for technical collaboration, exchanging best practices, or accomplishing complex rebar projects as a team”.
Community Involvement
AGF Rebar team in Markham recognized for “boundless enthusiasm of Islam Khan and his colleagues, numerous benefit activities were organized, demonstrating a true spirit of solidarity”.
ERP Hero Award
A special award was presented this year to highlight the “extraordinary work” of the Ottawa team, which pioneered the deployment of ERP within the Group, laying the foundation for future implementations and becoming the reference experts.
