City seeks feedback on proposed Oshawa Creek rehabilitation

Ontario Construction News staff writer

The City of Oshawa says it is developing a plan to address erosion concerns along the Oshawa Creek and they want to hear from residents about the project.

The city says the proposed rehabilitation work would take place along the creek just downstream of Wentworth Street West.

As part of the project, residents are invited to provide feedback on design drawings and background documents that are currently available on the city’s website.

Questions or feedback on the project can be sent to Harshad Patel, the city’s Water Resource Engineer by phone at (905) 436-3311 extension 2206 or by emailing hp****@****wa.ca.

The city says all feedback on the project will be considered as part of the design and is due back by 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 24.
