CSV Architects design Beacon Hill Community Centre renovation and expansion

Special to Ontario Construction News

The Beacon Hill Community Centre in Ottawa is getting an upgrade as part of a federal government initiative to improve infrastructure in communities across Ontario. This is a part of a larger initiative taking place across the province – to bring community members together.

CSV Architects was engaged to design the renovation and expansion of the community centre. The addition will include a new large multi-purpose room, a full-sized kitchen, new barrier-free washrooms, and lots of windows to allow for more natural light. “CSV’s vision is to provide a bright, open, accessible space to bring community members together,” said Jessie Smith, Principal at CSV Architects.

CSV Architects have long been known for their community-based, collaborative, purpose built, and sustainable designs. This expansion will provide lasting benefits as a modernized space suitable for a large variety of social and recreational events.
