McDougall Building Condition Assessment

Detail Of Services: The Municipality of McDougall is requesting proposals from proponents who have recent experience in providing Building Condition Assessments and Asset Management. The Municipality has sixteen (16) buildings that includes corporate buildings, fire halls, maintenance garages, material storage, recreation halls and various waste site buildings. The general scope of work for this project includes: • Visual, non-destructive, assessment for each building to review and document all components of the buildings. • Provide a report on each building that documents all components, provides a condition of all components, recommends maintenance needs (1-2 years) and recommends capital replacements for the next 10-years (2025 to 2034). Evidence of asbestos within components should be noted in the report. Each report shall also include an annual maintenance plan for each component, where applicable (i.e. recommend annual maintenance for rooftop units). • Where applicable, the Company shall also provide a green alternative solution for replacement or maintenance that will reduce operating costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
