Detail Of Services: Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from architectural / engineering consulting firms to provide the following professional services: “As and when required” professional services specific to Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) requirements for each of the following regions, Western Region (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba), Ontario Region (Including the Ottawa area), Quebec Region, and Atlantic Region (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador).
CFHA has an upcoming infrastructure program that includes low rise apartment buildings and non-apartment style residential units such as detached, semi-detached, town and row houses. CFHA is looking to bring consistency in the design and construction of the various housing models. It is therefore the intent to develop designs that are repeatable and can easily be site adapted for use at various bases and wings across each region.
Specific services may include but not be limited to Statements of Requirement, Options Analysis, Preparation of Concept, Design Development, Energy Modelling/Simulation, Preparation of Construction Documents OR of Performance Specifications, Cost Estimating, Tender Phase Services, Construction Phase Services and Enhanced Commissioning.
Building certification to LEED, Green Globes, Zero Carbon Building or other specified standards may be required.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
