Vaughan CP Rail Crossing Watermain Interconnection

  • Installation of 50.9m-762 mm (30”) diameter steel casing (29.25” Pipe ID) under the CPR rail tracks. Casing to be installed by the Jack and Bore Method.
  • Installation of 2-1500mm diameter concrete water valve chambers on both sides of the CP track.
  • Installation of approximately 83.5 of 250mm diameter watermain to be installed by the open cut method of installation on both sides of the CP track.
  • Installation of a new hydrant and connections to the existing watermain.
  • Other Miscellaneous and incidental works as contained in the Contract Documents.

The limit of construction for each street in this contract as follows: From the existing 250mm dead end watermain on the west side of the track to approximately 70m to the east of the CPR train tracks in the boulevard on the north side of Steeles Avenue.
