EllisDon Capital is partnering with Altree Developments to build Thirty Six Zorra, a 420-unit structure in Toronto’s Queensway district.
This collaboration will mark the first real estate development venture for EllisDon Capital and is the first between the two firms, Altree says in a statement. The expertise and resources of the partnership encompass all aspects of the delivery process and will bring the project to life.
“It is a great privilege to be able to build an alliance with EllisDon Capital for Thirty Six Zorra,” says Zev Mandelbaum, Altree’s president and CEO. “Partnering with a corporation that can bring its breadth of construction and design expertise to the team will support Altree in delivering on our vision of offering residents a vibrant city lifestyle, convenient access to downtown Toronto and unparalleled urban amenities, within steps of beautiful public green spaces.”
The statement says both companies will contribute to the betterment of the projectwith Altree’s insight, stemming from a long lineage of multi-generational expertise, and EllisDon’s capabilities as Canada’s leading high rise builder and infrastructure developer.
This strategic relationship will aid in the creation of the 35-storey tower, they said.

The building has been designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects Inc.
