EllisDon has installed company-branded Pride flags at its offices and many of its Canadian worksites as part of a national initiative in June.
“This is a demonstration of EllisDon’s commitment to inclusivity and belief that everyone has a right to live and work in an environment free of discrimination,” a company spokesperson said in a statement.
“EllisDon is an inclusive organization that values our people and their families. Supporting Pride is a natural way of celebrating EllisDon’s values and appreciation for our workforce during Pride Month. It is the intention of EllisDon to fly the flags at as many sites as possible,” t he statement said.
The company says it plans to fly the flags “at as many sites as possible.”
