Fundraiser set up for family of construction worker killed in collapse

An online fundraising campaign has been set up for Henry Harder, one of the two men killed in the partial building collapse at a London construction site on Friday.

Family friend Pete Friesen set up the account, aiming to raise $25,000 and as of Sunday afternoon, the effort had exceeded $60,000.

Friesen says Harder and his wife had welcomed a baby girl just three weeks ago.

“He was a really calm guy, didn’t talk much, but was a good person and a hard worker,” Pete Friesen told the London Free Press.

The collapse happened at 555 Teeple Terrace, near London’s Westmount neighbourhood.
