Honour the Work promotes skilled trades careers and showcases workers

Ontario Construction News staff writer

As the construction faces a labour crisis, Honour the Work is a national “one-stop-shop” connecting Canadians to skilled trades careers.

Resources on the site include a series of videos showcasing tradespeople, apprentices and construction leaders. Ontario Construction News supports Honour the Work and each week we share a video from the website.

Videos are divided into four categories:

  • Tell us about your work
  • Getting started
  • Common misconceptions
  • Advice for parents

Ontario Construction News is sharing videos to raise awareness for Honour the Work. In this week’s video, Natasha Callender-Wilson, vice president of Bass Installation, talks about joining the family business and working with her father, Stephen Callender.
