Infrastructure Ontario has announced two senior appointments to its executive team, naming Jody Becker as chief capital officer and Angela Tancock as chief administrative officer.
Becker joined Infrastructure Ontario earlier this year and will oversee the agency’s project delivery and commercial advisory business lines. In the role, she will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening IO’s capacity to deliver complex infrastructure projects while supporting its mandate to modernize public infrastructure across Ontario.
She brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in infrastructure operations, strategy, governance and project delivery. Most recently, she served as chief strategy officer at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, where she played a key role in developing a 10-year modernization plan for Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Previously, Becker was chief operating officer for a major Canadian construction and building services company, where she led growth, digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across healthcare, transit and energy sectors in Canada and internationally. Infrastructure Ontario says Becker will engage with market partners in the coming months to share the agency’s vision and strengthen collaboration across the province.
Angela Tancock will join Infrastructure Ontario as chief administrative officer effective Jan. 19, 2026.
Tancock has more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale organizational transformation. She joins IO from global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, where she served as chief operating officer overseeing operations, finance, human resources, facilities, procurement and technology. During her tenure, she developed a transformation and project management framework designed to align initiatives, skills, technology and capital investments with organizational strategy.
At Infrastructure Ontario, Tancock will oversee the consolidation of the agency’s enabling functions, including human resources, information technology, finance, lending, enterprise risk, internal audit and business services. The organization says the consolidation is intended to create a modern, client-focused platform that supports IO’s broader mission.
“We look forward to the expertise and leadership both Jody and Angela will bring to our organization,” said Angela Clayton, Infrastructure Ontario’s president and chief executive officer. “I know that I can count on our team to support their transition into these new roles.”
