Inquests set for three Ontario construction deaths

Inquest dates have been set for three construction accident deaths.

The inquest for Jatlinder Dhesi will commence on Feb. 18. Dhesi, 21, died on June 30, 2015 from injuries on a construction site.

A separate inquest has been scheduled for the deaths of Kihwan Kang and Mamshid Agzamov,  Kang, 26, died Sept;. 27 2008 and Agzamov, 38, died on Nov. 27, 2015 from falls at separate construction sites. Dr. Robert Boyko will preside as inquest coroner and Eadit Rokach will be counsel to the coroner.

Kang and Agzamov’s inquest  starting Feb. 3 is expected to last seven days and hear from 10 witnesses, the coroner says in a statement. Meanwhile, Dhesi’s inquest is expected to last three days and hear from three witnesses. Dr. Geoffrey Bond will preside as inquest coroner and Patrick Woods will be counsel to the coroner.
