Staff at Hobin Architecture Inc. in Ottawa received a surprise visit from Merkley Supply Ltd. last week when the masonry and building supplies retailer sent a flatbed truck and a pallet of champagne and glasses to the architect’s office.
The reason for the visit (attended by brothers Robert and Ken Merkley): Hobin is celebrating its 40th anniversary as Merkley celebrates its 60th year in business.
