Mississauga bridge being replaced to support future LRT

Ontario Construction news staff writer

Construction is underway on a new bridge over Mary Fix Creek in Mississauga, which will replace the existing bridge over the creek at Inglewood Drive.

As part of construction, crews conducted piling activities adjacent to Oriole Avenue by drilling steel or concrete into the ground to provide strength and stability for major construction to take place.

Piling activities wrapped up last month and next steps include construction of the bridge foundations and installation of the precast girders to support the new roadway.
