Niagara Falls launches online building permit, planning portal

Ontario Construction News staff writer

The City of Niagara Falls has launched a new CityView portal,  an all-in-one community development software designed to streamline planning and building permit applications through a paperless process.

The portal provides builders and developers with a convenient process to:

  • apply online for a building permit or planning application
check the status of an application
    make payments
    request an inspection
    search for a property

The new online service is available 24/7 from almost anywhere there is an internet connection.

To access the portal, you must register for a MyCity Dashboard account. The online portal will provide step-by-step instructions on creating an account, submitting an application, or making a payment.

Visit niagarafalls.ca/cityview for more information and register for an account to submit your applications.
