The Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA) will host a free online webinar Dec. 1 to examine recent amendments to Ontario’s Construction Act and their implications for the construction industry.
The webinar, scheduled for 10 to 11 a.m., will cover new requirements for the annual release of holdback and the mandatory release of holdback within 14 days after liens have expired or been satisfied.
The session will offer practical advice on managing the new requirements, using the rules to a company’s advantage and handling the administrative demands associated with the new deadlines.
The webinar takes place Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m.
