Throughout his career, Andison has held leadership positions demonstrating his expertise in business development, operational management, and navigating regulatory environments.

His tenure within the Ontario government included roles in the ministries of Finance, Education, and Health and Long-Term Care, where he played a key role in developing strategic initiatives to enhance health service delivery.

As the former President & CEO of the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO), Andison showcased his leadership abilities in advocacy and association management within the housing sector. His appointment has been welcomed by OHBA’s Board President, Dave Depencier, who highlighted Andison’s proven track record and strategic vision.

Andison expressed his commitment to leveraging his diverse experience to support Ontario’s developers, builders, and renovators in providing affordable housing choices.

“I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at the OHBA,” he said. “My experiences across the private sector and within the Ontario government have prepared me to lead this association effectively. I am very excited for the opportunity to direct my experience and passion to support Ontario’s developers, builders and renovators to build the housing choices that Ontarians need and can afford.”

In his new role, he aims to lead OHBA effectively, ensuring the association remains influential in shaping policy and fostering industry growth.

Neil Rodgers will transition into a Strategic Advisor role.

Dave Depencier expressed gratitude to Rodgers for his interim leadership, which stabilized operations and advanced government relations strategies to prioritize housing supply.

“We are exceptionally pleased to welcome Scott Andison as OHBA’s Chief Executive Officer,” said OHBA Board President Dave Depencier. “His extensive experience in both the private sector and within the Ontario government equips him with a unique perspective and set of skills that are ideal for leading our association.

“Scott’s proven leadership, combined with his strategic vision and deep understanding of both the governmental and private sectors, will propel OHBA and the interests of our members forward.”
