The Ontario government has launched a new online tool aimed at helping students, new Canadians and job seekers plan their careers and find in-demand jobs, including opportunities in construction trades.

The interactive portal, called My Career Journey, is designed to connect users with information on education, training and career opportunities across the province.

Officials say the website will serve as a resource for people entering the workforce or considering a career change, offering guidance on how to prepare for skilled jobs in sectors such as health care, trades and engineering.

“Whether you’re stepping into the workforce after graduation or making a job change, Ontario has the world-class training and education opportunities you need to launch a fulfilling career,” said Colleges and Universities Minister Nolan Quinn in a statement.

The portal features interactive maps, job profiles, and a questionnaire that provides users with personalized recommendations for education and career paths. It also highlights Ontario’s colleges, universities and Indigenous Institutes.

The government says the initiative is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the province’s workforce amid economic uncertainty and U.S. trade pressures.

“Now more than ever, we need to ensure job seekers are equipped with the tools they need to enter rewarding, good-paying careers,” said Labour and Skills Development Minister David Piccini.

The My Career Journey website is available at ontario.ca/mycareerjourney.
