PCL Construction appoints new Toronto vice-president and district manager

Monique Buckberger is the new vice-president and district manager for PCL Construction’s Toronto district.

Buckberger began her career with PCL’s Winnipeg district in 1995, working on the Norwood Bridge project. Since then, she has held numerous roles in different districts, including operations manager in Regina and project director in the BC Region. Most recently she was district manager in the Winnipeg region.

“Monique brings an extensive skill set in both buildings and civil infrastructure work,” said Todd Craigen, president, Eastern Canada at PCL Construction.

“During her career with PCL, she has worked on many notable projects, including the Regina Stadium, Manitoba Hydro Place, the Disraeli bridges, and The Post in Vancouver. We look forward to seeing her future work in Toronto.”

Buckberger graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. She is a CCA Gold Seal Certified project manager and holds a certificate in project management (honors) from Red River College.

PCL is a group of independent construction companies across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and in Australia.
