Pump maker plans $3.5 million Oakville plant expansion

Grundfos Canada Inc. plans to build a $3.5 million expansion of it Oakville service and warehouse location starting in July.

Maple Reinders Construction Ltd. is the general contractor for the structure designed by Pearce McCluskey Architects Ltd., according to DataBid.com.

The 2,221 sq. m. project for the Danish-headquartered company will double the plant’s size.

Gundfos manufactures a variety of pumps, including circulator, submersible and centrifugal pumps.

The project is scheduled to be completed by July 2020.
