MISSISSAUGA – Registration is now open for the sixth annual Women in Construction event, which will be held in person for the first time on April 9.

After five online editions, the half-day event moves to the Sandman Hotel in Mississauga, offering construction and trades professionals a chance for face-to-face discussions and networking. The program runs from 7:30 a.m. to noon and includes a hot breakfast and panel discussions.

This year’s event will focus on:

  • Progress, advocacy, and the work still ahead for women in construction
  • Designing safe, functional workwear and PPE for women
  • Navigating gender bias in customer-facing and on-site roles

Taking place from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Sandman Hotel in Mississauga, the event includes a hot breakfast, curated panels, and valuable networking with peers across all areas and roles of construction and trades.

Early bird registration is available until March 9. Organizers say the event provides an opportunity for industry professionals to connect and share insights. Click here for more information.
