SmartLiving plans 22-storey Jane-Finch rental tower on shopping centre parking lot

SmartLiving, SmartCentres REIT’s residential sub-brand, plans to construct a new high-rise tower adjacent to Yorkgate Mall, steps away from the future Jane-Finch LRT station.

Urban Toronto reports that the 22-storey high rise is the first significant new rental building proposed for the Jane-Finch neighbourhood in nearly 40 decades. There will be 294 rental units.

The proposed tower designed by Petroff Partnership Architects will can i buy amoxil occupy the site’s northwest corner along York Gate Boulevard, replacing part of an under-utilized surface parking lot. The project will not affect the existing mall.

In a statement, SmartLiving says it recognizes the importance of the Yorkgate Mall among the local community and the company emphasized that the shopping centre will remain for the foreseeable future.
