The Mass Timber Revolution: CSC Ottawa schedules April 28 webinar

Ontario Construction News staff writer

Construction Specification Canada’s (CSC) Ottawa chapter has scheduled an educational webinar, “The Mass Timber Revolution”, on April 28.

Patrick Chouinard, founder and vice-president of business development at Element5 Limited Partnership, will provide “an insight on how wood construction renaissance is happening around the world,” CSC Ottawa says in its event announcement.

“Participants will understand how new products, systems, and off-site manufactured solutions are not only improving the way we build, but they are transforming the way project teams work together, from the early design phase right through to manufacturing and final assembly. By joining this event, you will understand new opportunities for mass timber as well as well as barriers to growth.”

Element5 Limited Partnership specializes in the “design, fabrication and assembly of contemporary timber structures working with solid wood, the world’s most flexible and only renewable building resource,” the statement says.

There’s no charge to attend the ZOOM event from noon to 1:00 p.m.
