Toronto issues building permits valued at $1.129 billion in November

Toronto issued $1,129,551,717 in building permits in November, according to data released by the city.

The largest permit was for a $245 million apartment building at 1095 Leslie St. Tridel and Rowntree Enterprises are building this 339 unit structure, one of three buildings at the Auburge at the Park complex.

The unit count doesn’t match the numbers reported by Urban Toronto for the largest structure, at 45 stories. The website gives the unit count at 402. The other two buildings are 39 and 29 stories, respectively, according to Urban Toronto, with 251 and 215 units.

Graziani + Corazza Architects designed the building.

Other significant projects include:

  • An apartment building at 10 Eva Rd. West, valued at $150 million;
  • Transit Station, and subway-bus terminal at 50 York Gate Blvd., at $80 million and;
  • A new $64 million industrial building at 25 Vickers Rd.
