Ontario Construction News staff writer

Vipond’s annual summer social is set for Sept. 12, starting at 4 p.m.

This year’s event will take place at the Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto and will include food, drinks and live horse racing along with opportunities to network with industry professionals.

The night will also include product demos from Axis Communications and Genetec. Guest speakers from Woodbine Racetrack and Peel Crime stoppers. Don’t miss out on the silent auction.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Smilezone.

Smilezone Foundation’s mission is to make tough days a little brighter for kids receiving treatment in hospitals and health care facilities. We do this by creating fun and engaging “Smilezones” that harness the uplifting power of a smile for the kids and their families.

The idea of Smilezone started when Adam Graves and Scott Bachly were approached to make a financial contribution to the construction of a local hospital. The request made Adam and Scott realize they wanted to make a difference, not only in their community, but in communities across the country.
