Ontario Construction News staff writer

Construction professionals can sharpen their knowledge of key legal and contractual issues this spring as WeirFoulds LLP launches the latest edition of its long-running webinar series.

“Tools for Success: Season 11” features a four-part program led by construction lawyers Krista Chaytor and Jeff Scorgie, offering practical insights into recent developments affecting the industry.

The series will explore four core topics critical to contractors, project owners and consultants, beginning with “Forms and Notices” on April 9. A session on “Dispute Resolution” follows April 30, with additional webinars covering “Delay” on May 7 and “Insurance” on May 28. All sessions are scheduled from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Organizers say the sessions are designed to provide timely guidance on evolving legal requirements and risk management practices in the construction sector, with a focus on real-world applications.

The webinar series continues a long-standing initiative by WeirFoulds to support industry stakeholders with accessible, practical legal education as project complexity and regulatory demands continue to grow.
