Local not-for-profit organizations now have the opportunity to secure funding for capital projects through the 2026 City of London Community Grants Program. Applications for the grants, which can be used for construction, renovations, or land and facility purchases, are due by March 18 at noon.

To support applicants, the city is offering virtual information session on Tues., Feb. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No registration is required; participants can join by visiting london.ca/CommunityGrants shortly before the webinar. A pre-recorded informational video will also be available online.

Organizations can also book 30-minute consultation meetings with city staff to review applications and receive guidance.

This year, the city has set aside $250,000 for capital projects, with individual grants capped at $50,000 to allow broad participation. The program is designed to help organizations expand programs and services that directly benefit Londoners by improving access to facilities and resources.

“These grants are essential for local not-for-profit organizations to enhance existing facilities and services, allowing them to continue making a meaningful difference across our city,” said Mayor Josh Morgan. “London is home to innovators dedicated to strengthening our city and elevating the well-being of residents, and we remain committed to backing initiatives that create a stronger London and broaden access to opportunities for everyone.”

Eligible capital projects include construction, land or building purchases and renovations that increase program or service space. Applications should comply with the city’s strategic plan, demonstrate community need, cost-effectiveness and contribution to quality of life.
